11.Pavan Duggal has been working on the legal issues concerning Ubiquitous Computing in specialized branch of law ,Ubiqlaw. 12.He was a keynote speaker at the Privacy and Business Laws Conferences at Cambridge in 2004 and 2005 and spoke on the legal position on data protection in India. 13.Pavan Duggal has contributed a chapter on India in the book on Cybercrime Jurisdictions published by Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society, Tilburg University, the Netherlands. He also attended the Hague Cybercrime Conference that took place at the Hague in May 2005 and spoke about the position on cyber crimes and their regulation in India. 14.He was the consultant to United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) on the Asia Pacific Conference on Cybercrime and Information Security 2002. 15.Pavan Duggal has attended the Consultations on the establishment of the Working Group on Internet Governance held at the United Nations at Geneva on 20-21 Sep 2004. 16.He has been the consultant to United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) during the Bandung Info Ethics Conference, 2002 which led to the formation of the UNESCO’s Regional Observatory of the Information Society in Asia Pacific. 17.Pavan Duggal was invited by United Nations Information and Communication Technologies Task Force to participate in the Global Forum on Internet Governance held at United Nations Headquarters, New York on 25-26th March, 2004.He was a part of the United Nations Working Group On Transaction And Content, which deliberated various legal, and policy issues impacting Internet Governance during the UN Global Forum On Internet Governance held from 25-26th March, 2004. 18.Pavan Duggal is now a member of ICT Policy and Governance Working Group of the UNICT Taskforce. 19.He is the Legal and Policy Consultant to Internet Mark 2 Project, which is examining the next level of Internet. 20.Pavan Duggal is the member of AFACT Legal Working Group of UN/CEFACT. |
