He has been advocating the need for having a defining legal regime pertaining to information security. He has written extensively on the need for updating information security and how companies can be impacted in case if their information security is breached. He , as a counsel, has dealt with various cases of both civil and criminal consequences which deal with breach of information security as also security of computers, computer systems, computer networks as also communication devices and data and information in the electronic form. He actively encourages the relevant stake holders to comply with the relevant provisions pertaining to information security under the relevant laws in India as a means of proactive corporate strategy. He is often interviewed by the media and the press on issues pertaining to information security.
